When it comes to making sure every kid gets a first-rate education, music matters. Little Kids Rock believes that learning to play a musical instrument can be a transformative experience in students’ lives, with the power to inspire the creativity and confidence that are critical to success in school and beyond. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to bringing free musical instruments and music instruction to underserved schools across the country. Ultimately, our goal is to restore music to its rightful place in the academic lives of all kids in our public schools. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL BY: Providing weekly music education classes to K-12 students in public schools that have been stripped of their music programs. Pioneering innovative teaching methods that are rooted in children’s knowledge of popular music forms such as rock, rap, blues, hip-hop and more. Preparing teachers and volunteers to offer classes utilizing our methods and materials. Through donations MusicNomad supports Little Kids Rock.
Everyone Gets Music believes that music education is an essential component of a school age child's development. Through programs which include lectures, workshops and performances, the organization's mission is to contribute to music education in public schools, and to serve as a resource for parents and educators. Private music lessons are essential to a young musician’s growth and education, but in some schools the only available music instruction is from the school’s band director. There is simply no way parents can afford the luxury of private music lessons from an outside teacher. Typically, band directors usually have limited time to devote to each individual student. Some schools only have one person running several music programs. Other schools have minimal music education programs or no music education programs whatsoever. Usually because of budget constraints, teachers end up volunteering on their already overtaxed time to help their kids improve. However, to really progress, a student needs the benefit of outside one-on-one instruction in conjunction with whatever instruction they may receive from their school programs.

Everyone Gets Music was formed to fill that need. Through donations, Music Nomad has sponsored Everyone Gets Music.
The Harmony Project is a non-profit organization established in April of 2001 with a vision of serving the cultural and artistic needs of underprivileged children in the Los Angeles area. Their mission is: To promote the healthy growth and development of children through the study, practice and performance of music. To build healthier communities by investing in the positive development of children through music. To develop children as musical ambassadors of peace, hope and understanding amongst people of diverse cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. They currently provide private and group orchestral instrument instruction, music theory, choral singing, recital performances and regular field trips to live events. Instruction offered by qualified teachers and musicians, as well as all musical instruments, are provided to each child at no cost to the child or their family, based upon family income. They accomplish this by: 1) Bringing quality music instruction to children who otherwise would not have access to it.  2) Complementing music education with supporting resources and opportunities. 3) Fostering a community of families that actively support their children growth and development. Finally, besides receiving a quality musical education, each child is able to participate in a program that offers the consistency that is often lacking in their daily life. Their children develop the skills of personal discipline, dedication, responsibility, and cooperation that help them function as healthy individuals within a community. Through donations, Music Nomad has sponsored The Harmony Project.
